Customer Reviews & Questions
Review Summary
Summarized by generative AI from text of customer reviews
The pillow receives mixed reviews, with some customers finding it extremely comfortable and supportive, especially for side sleepers, while others report it becoming too soft and lacking in support over time. The pillow seems to provide the right balance of softness and support for some, but others find it too thick or high, causing issues for back and side sleepers. The quality and performance appear to be somewhat inconsistent, with a substantial number of unsatisfied customers alongside those who had a great experience.

Replaces two 15 yr. old bed pillows
""Standard"" is the perfect pillow for us - not too hard or soft. Husband punches it into a small nest to his liking.

Very Puffy
These pillows have held up after several weeks of use and are still very puffy. Not quite what I was looking for as a side/stomach sleeper but my back sleeper partner finds them perfect. Loved that they came in a little baggy for storage if I needed.

We are very happy that the LoftAIRE Down Alternative Dual Chamber Pillow is perfect for your partner. It does sadden that the item did not work for you. Perhaps a different density in another collection would be more suitable for your sleeping position. Thank you for choosing The Company store.

Hi Veronica. Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback on your pillows. We are sorry to disappoint you. To fluff them, you can shake them, or put them in the dryer on air fluff cycle with a couple of dryer balls to further distribute the filling and remove lumps. If you have further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Highly recommended for plushness!
I've been using a memory foam pillow for years, but since receiving these, I like them better! They are so snuggly and soft without being suffocating.

Great for back sleepers
I am a back and side sleeper. This pillow is very comfortable if you only sleep on your back, but it is somewhat cumbersome when you switch to your side. #sweepstakes

What is the difference between the la cross down alternative pillow and the essentials loftaire pillow?
Anonymous
06/21/2021
Hi Jan ~ The Lacrosse Loftaire Down Alternative Pillow has a 250 Thread Count Cover. It has a dual chamber construction. The inner core provides firmness while the outer chamber provides softness. It is a medium support for back and side sleepers. The Company Essential Loftaire Pillow has a 300 Thread Count Cotton Sateen Cover and is available in four densities. The soft is for stomach sleepers, the medium support is for back sleepers, the firm and the extra firm are for side sleepers. Both pillows are machine washable. Thank you for your inquiry.

Just wondering if there is a way to get the fluff back into these pillows?

Hi John ~ We recommend putting the LaCrosse LoftAIRE Down Alternative Pillows in the dryer using the ""fluff"" no heat cycle with tennis balls(1-2) to bring the loft back up. Do 1 pillow at a time. Thank you for your inquiry!

Is the cover organic cotton? Does the pillow have a chemical odor? I am sensitive to chemicals and need a scent free pillow.

Hi ~ The LaCrosse Loftaire Down Alternative pillow doesn't have a organic cotton cover. It has a soft and smooth, 250-thread count cotton cambric cover. There shouldn't be any odor to this pillow. If for some reason you wouldn't be happy with this pillow, we have a 90 day free returns. Thank you for your inquiry.

SM made a statement a year ago that the cover makes a""kind of crunchy"" sound when they put their head on it. Is that true? The pillow reviews are excellent but I don't want the ""crunch"".

Hi Nancy. The LaCrosse LoftAIRE Pillow Standard 2-pack Offer. Our pillows have a 250-thread count cotton cambric shell. This will soften up over time with use and after the first laundering. Your pillow protector and pillowcase will help to mask any rustling of the fabric as well. It can be the newness of the fabric. Most customers do not notice this. Thank you for your inquiry.
